Mani graduated from the ECE department at Anna. Easily one of my closest buddies at Infy, he did his best a friend to guide me thru the entire Infy stint. We still talk a lot about as they say - pyaar, ishq, aur mohabbat. Basically everything under the sun from movies to music to books...

Tony Navin (Mavane):
Tony is the happiest guy I ever met. Another guy who kept me sane thru the Infosys stint. We used to sing the anthem - Hotel California- in the bus on the way back home just to relieve the tension. Before I left, I spoke to him and we made a pact that someday we'll sing it as a duet in CA. We still joke a lot about the people we knew in Infy.
Tonez and his Jonez are with the Banking Business Unit at Infy Bangalore.
Senthil Kumar:
The quietest guy in Infy - just does his work at work. But at home he's quite a talkative person. Will listen to anyone patiently, especially my rants and raves.
Jayaprakash Jayaraman (Jp):
Another one of my closest pals from Infy. He always has been there for me whenever I have needed him. Only problem is that he doesnt email people much!
Brijesh Kochumadhavan Nair (Beefy/Biju):
The first guy I met in the hotel. Did his Production Engg from VJTI where he knew many a friend of mine. He's a real muscle-man. Would give Arnie-bhai a run for his money if he decided to run for Governor here in CA. I think Mani and I gave him the name Beefy. Beefy now works with Talisma in Bangalore. His infamous line which has been used many a time by me and others is:
"Mischief/whatever kiya to pakadke kaan ke neeche do baja doonga"
Govinda Raj :
Govind graduated from College of Engg, Trivandrum. He's a kool guy who takes too much "tension" over his work.
Dipu:
The biggest rascal of Infy. He had crushes on every gal, starting from Aatha right down to KOW. He still writes some amazing mails. Will never forget the 3-hr chat we had on my last day at Infy.
Sudhir Kumar:
Sudhir graduated from REC-Allahabad. He now works with SAP in Bangalore. He's a damn sweet guy.
Sharayu:
A good friend, a quiet person, an enigma to me.
Purnima:
A great friend, an adviser, not-so-much of an enigma!
Pooja:
One of my oldest pals. Apparently we were classmates in kindergarten - she remembers, I don't!!! Was a big rival of mine during inter-school debates, but off the battlefield we were good friends. She was also with me in Infy, but is now at IIM-Ahmedabad. She claims we've known each other since we were knee-high, or so she told some common friend at Infy!
